When I was 17, my father gave me his camera, a Canon 6D. Since that time, I started to become interested in photography. It quickly became apparent that I wanted to do something with photography after high school. I decided to pursue training as a photo and media designer. Before taking pictures, I watched a series of videos on the internet. How do you take good pictures? What should the lighting conditions be like? What camera settings are necessary? My big role model was and still is the Canadian Peter McKinnon. I learned a lot from him and was inspired by him.
To me, a beautiful car is like a work of art, a perfect union of technology, functionality, and design. In my photos, I try to capture this perfection. The season, location, and time of day influence the creation of the shots.
In my shots, I emphasise perfection; the images must have good quality. I have very high standards for myself. I take a considerable number of photos until I am satisfied. Only by taking lots of photos do you get better.
